Piers Morgan took a swipe at Brooklyn Beckham on Monday morning after the aspiring photographer revealed a fifth tattoo dedicated to fiancée Nicola Peltz.

Brooklyn, 21, revealed the new inking – a love letter written by the American actress – on his upper back in an Instagram post shared with followers over the weekend.

The design is the latest in a series of permanent tributes to Nicola, 26, with David and Victoria Beckham’s oldest child previously opting to have her eyes and name tattooed onto his neck.

Other inkings include a love poem on his lower right arm and the name of Nicola’s late grandmother, Gina, on his upper arm.

Referring to his latest on Monday’s edition of Good Morning Britain, Piers, 55, questioned what he might do should his relationship with Nicola come to an end.

‘Congratulations to Brooklyn Beckham, who’s – what is he? He’s a famous child,’ he said. ‘He’s taken to Instagram to show off his latest inking on the back of his neck.

‘It’s his fifth permanent tribute that he’s made to his American actress fiancee, Nicola Peltz. It shows her eyes and a load of guff he’s written.’

Interjecting, co-host Susanna Reid correctly added: ‘No, I think it’s a love letter she wrote to him!

‘Right. Imagine if they break up? He’s going to have to get someone else’s eyes,’ Piers continued, unperturbed.

‘There’s going to be a lot of eyes on that back by the time he’s older!’

Admitting he ‘didn’t get’ the concept body art, the presenter said he was unsettled by the idea of getting tattoos dedicated to loved ones.

‘If God wanted you to have tattoos, he’d have given you them,’ he claimed. ‘And David Beckham, he’s just a tattoo now, isn’t he? He’s just one great big tattoo.

‘And now his kids are doing it. Putting your girlfriend or fiancee or wife’s eyes on your neck, it’s just so creepy and weird.’

He added: ‘It’s not romantic, it’s just the oddest, weirdest cringe thing that I’ve ever seen!’

Brooklyn’s latest tattoo is now the fifth permanent tribute he has made to the American actress, whom he became engaged to in July 2020.

The striking black and white snap shows him facing away from the camera, with the intimate words from Nicola written across his neck and upper back.

The tattoo reads: ‘My forever boy. Read this anytime you feel anxious. I want you to know how deeply loved you are.

‘You have the kindest heart I’ve ever met and hope I never go a day without your love.

‘I think you are so incredible. Just we can get through it all together if you breathe slow and trust. I love you beyond.

‘Love always, your future wifey.’

Captioning the image, Brooklyn simply penned: ‘Love letters.’
