She told the publication that she reached out to the pair with Danny first to agree and Susan’s representatives following on with the green light.

‘My team and I always go for the big dream first until we’re told no, so we reached out to Danny and he read it and loved it,’ she told the publication.

Julia said the pair then asked Danny who he would like to go on a date with, and he answered back suggesting Susan Sarandon.

‘So, the following day we reached out to Susan’s team and they loved the idea.’

Julia admitted herself that it was a wild thing to come together as usually celebrities are too busy for music videos.

Melbourne-based Julia was forced into lockdown while living in the coronavirus-hit city in 2020.

Last year, she surprised fans with her iconic cover of the Midnight Oil classic ‘Beds are Burning’ to protest indigenous land management practices.

‘I really wanted this song to connect with [its] origins – written 33 years ago about indigenous land rights,’ she captioned the clip.

The singer first recorded the song as a outlet for her ‘sadness’ during Australia’s bushfire crisis, before linking it to loss of culture for indigenous Australians.
