Jennifer Lopez recently stole the show when she performed at President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris‘s inauguration.

And the two-time Grammy nominee has come a long way since dropping her debut album back in 1999.

She recreated the music video for Love Don’t Cost a Thing as she posted a clip Saturday to social media, celebrating the 20th anniversary of her self-titled second studio album J.Lo.

She walked along a beach to the hit single, stripping off her sunglasses and white overcoat, throwing them in the sand.

J.Lo revealed a black t-shirt underneath, printed with a red carpet photo of her around the time the album dropped in 2001.

She turned away and started to strip off her shirt, before turning back and pushing away the camera with a laugh.

In the original video, Lopez stormed out of a lavish mansion after her boyfriend bailed on her, before ditching her Aston Martin and stripping away all the expensive jewels and clothes he bought her.

The Hustlers actress dropped her second album on January 16, 2001, debuting atop the Billboard 200, the same weekend her rom-com classic The Wedding Planner opened at the top of the box office. 

The album was certified quadruple platinum, making it her highest-selling album to date, selling more than 8million copies worldwide.

She previously nabbed two Grammy nominations for her songs Waiting for Tonight and Let’s Get Loud from her 1999 debut album On the 6.

Lopez recently performed a mashup of Let’s Get Loud, This Land Is Your Land and America the Beautiful for President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’s inauguration.

She proclaimed in Spanish at the end of her performance: ‘One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all!’

It’s been quite a year for the Bronx native, who recently performed in Times Square on New Year’s Eve, after filling the coveted Super Bowl halftime slot in February, which she shared with Shakira.
