Steve Harvey confirmed he approves of his stepdaughter Lori’s boyfriend Michael B. Jordan, just weeks after the lovebirds went public with their blossoming romance.
During Friday’s episode of his radio show, The Steve Harvey Morning Show, the 64-year-old TV personality called the Black Panther star, 33, a ‘nice guy,’ but admitted he still plans to keep an ‘eye on him.’
‘I like this one,’ the protective father-of-seven stated. ‘But like I say to all of ’em, ‘I might like you, I might approve of you, but I got a thumb-size section of my heart filled with nothing but pure hatred for your ass. Just in case I need it.’

Referencing Jordan’s recent honor of being crowned People’s Sexiest Man Alive, Steve joked that the hunky Emmy nominee was not ‘the sexiest man in the world.’

Michael and Lori – who’ve nicknamed each other ‘Turtle’ and ‘Nugget’ – have been dating for a few months and only went Instagram official on January 10, but they’re clearly smitten.
The duo also recently posed for a mirror selfie on Tuesday, which showed Michael standing behind his girlfriend, who wore a skintight apple green mini dress, as he put one hand on her chest.
They were staying on a yacht in Saint Barthélemy with Lori’s family, including her dad and his wife Marjorie, for her 24th birthday getaway.

The two both appeared to be wearing heavy layers of clothing in order to stay warm in the chilly winter weather.

In the video, which appeared to have been shot on an older camera, the two looked at each other lovingly before Jordan tossed some snow onto his girlfriend.
When she followed suit, the two tackled each other to the ground, where they laughed in the freezing snow.
She has previously been romantically linked to P. Diddy, Trey Songz and, most recently, rapper Future.
