I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Colin Fassnidge has taken aim at his former My Kitchen Rules co-star and controversial chef, Pete Evans. 

On Thursday, The Daily Telegraph claimed the Irish chef pulled no punches when it came to Pete, and his views, in deleted I’m a Celebrity footage obtained by the publication. 

‘He is off the leash now,’ Colin reportedly said.

‘I do not agree with any of the views,’ added Colin about Pete, who has been labelled an ‘anti-vaxxer’ and a ‘conspiracy theorist’. 

Pete was set to join the the cast on I’m A Celebrity… but was scrapped after the neo-Nazi meme scandal broke in November last year. 

Colin was his last-minute replacement.

The chef posted a cartoon of a caterpillar wearing a MAGA cap and a butterfly with the neo-Nazi Black Sun emblem on its wing to Twitter.

In response to the scandal, he was dropped by more than 15 brands and sponsors, including Kmart, Coles, Big W, David Jones and Woolworths.

Prior to that scandal, Pete copped a major fine when he promoted the $15,000 BioCharger lamp as a potential COVID-19 cure.

In April last year, Pete was fined $25,200 for promoting the lamp which he claimed could help treat coronavirus.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration issued two infringement notices to Pete’s company for alleged breaches of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989.

The celebrity chef had live streamed a video on Facebook on April 9 claiming the BioCharger device could be used in relation to ‘Wuhan coronavirus’.  

As well as his bigger scandals, Pete had previously been criticised for speaking against sunscreen, water fluoridation and advocating a Paleo diet.
