Below Deck’s chef Rachel Hargrove says she DOESN’T drink too much as she reveals the truth about her drunken clash with British deckhand James Hough
Below Deck’s ‘Chef Rachel’ Hargrove has dismissed accusations that she drinks too much and has downplayed her on-screen feud with deckhand James Hough.
Speaking to the POPlitically Incorrect podcast, the fan favourite said that some of her castmates were overreacting about her drinking on the show.
‘I just think they’re being uptight, I really do,’ the 38-year-old said.

‘The focus was on me because everybody else wasn’t doing anything so… it is what it is, I don’t really care,’ she continued.
‘I do think that I get singled out a lot now. It was Elizabeth [Frankini] that got singled out a lot, and Izzy [Wouters] was getting her turn in the very beginning.
‘She got her flogging in the beginning, Elizabeth’s getting her flogging still, and now it’s my turn. [Francesca Rubi] went after James at one point too.’

On this week’s episode, Rachel shocked viewers after drunkenly slamming James to Elizabeth while he was in earshot during a boozy dinner party.
‘I’m so mad at you. I’m mad at you,’ Rachel told Elizabeth after learning that she was having a fling with James.
‘Why the f**k would you go f**k that dude?’ she said, before adding, ‘He’s a f**king idiot.’

James and Rachel then started clashing at the table, all while Elizabeth got caught in the middle of the drama.
Speaking to POPlitically Incorrect, Rachel said that she doesn’t actually have any issues with the handsome lad.
‘I don’t dislike James at all, I like James, it’s just that when James came in at the very beginning he was like, “I’m on holiday. That bird’s fit!”

‘He just annoys me because he does come into the galley and just stands there sometimes, like he’s posing. He does this blue steel face all the time towards the camera, and I’m like, “b*tch, wash!”
‘He’s actually a nice guy, I don’t hate James at all. He’s a douche. I can still like you if you’re a douche, it’s totally fine.’
