With Tatiana Maslany already set to play the title character, Marvel is rounding out the cast for their She-Hulk series. 

Actress Ginger Gonzaga has signed on for a supporting role in the show, described as a ‘legal comedy series,’ via Deadline.

Maslany is playing Jennifer Walters, an attorney who is also a cousin to Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), who displays her own Hulk-like powers.

While Gonzaga’s exact character name has not been revealed, she’s said to be playing Walters’ best friend.  

It’s unclear if this character has roots in the She-Hulk Marvel comics, which were created by writer Stan Lee and artist John Buscema, which debuted in 1980.

Although she didn’t reveal any details, Gonzaga did address the her casting with a tweet on Tuesday afternoon.

Mark Ruffalo has also been confirmed to return as Bruce Banner, while Tim Roth is also reprising his role from 2008’s The Incredible Hulk as Emil Blonsky, who transforms into a creature known as The Abomination.

She-Hulk was first announced at Disney’s D23 Expo in August 2019, with Jessica Gao coming aboard as the head writer in November 2019.

Kat Coiro will direct along with Anu Valia, with the show following Walters as she specializes in tackling cases related to superheroes, with, ‘a host of Marvel characters’ said to be featured in the series.
