EXCLUSIVE: The new Big Brother house is demolished after producers were evicted from the Manly compound

The newly revamped Big Brother house is officially no more.

After getting a makeover in September, the Manly complex that housed last year’s contestants is now being demolished.

Photos obtained by Daily Mail Australia show the purpose-built studio being deconstructed, just weeks after the 2021 season wrapped production.

Channel Seven hired a huge warehouse early last year to film the reboot, instead of buying or renting a luxury home.

The set designers then attached a huge wooden panel to the front of the warehouse, which features the Big Brother eye logo.

But less than two years later, the warehouse looks almost unrecognisable, with only the structure and ceiling remaining as crew members get to work pulling it down.

In September, Daily Mail Australia revealed the warehouse had undergone a major refurbishment ahead of the new housemates arriving.

The most notable upgrade was the backyard.

The outdoor seating area, swimming pool and gym set-up on the synthetically turfed lawn were altered for the new season, which airs later this year on Seven.

Producers were forced to find a new location after being served an eviction notice by the National Parks and Wildlife Service, reports TV Blackbox.

Production company Endemol Shine apparently only had a two-season deal with the owners of the site. The eviction notice was issued due to concerns for local wildlife.

Big Brother was previously filmed at a $13million house at Dreamworld, on the Gold Coast, but the property was burned down by underage vandals in 2019.
