Channel 10 confirms premiere date for Hughesy, We Have a Problem hosted by comedian Dave Hughes

Hughesy, We Have A Problem will return to screens in just three weeks’ time.

Channel 10 has already started promoting the comedy show in a series of adverts touting funnyman Dave Hughes’ problem-solving skills.

The 50-year-old will be joined for each episode by two supporting comedians.

Becky Lucas and Nazeem Hussain will be on the panel each week starting February 8, Radio Today reports.

Hughesy, We Have a Problem attracted an average of 630,000 metro viewers when it debuted in 2018, making it a ratings success for 10.

While its numbers have slipped, the show remains popular.

It’s back! Hughesy, We Have A Problem will returns to screens in as little as three weeks. The star of the show will Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes (centre) – but this year he will be supported by the regular appearance of comedians Becky Lucas (left) and Nazeem Hussain (right)

It comes after Dave revealed he had ‘bit off more than he can chew’ when he signed up to host 2Day FM’s new Sydney breakfast show.

He fronts the program alongside Ed Kavalee and Erin Molan.

‘Absolutely I bit off more than I can chew, but I love radio,’ he told The Sydney Morning Herald on Saturday.

‘I really want to live in Sydney. When the network has gone, “We’ve got long-term faith in you” … you’re crazy not to do it,’ he added.

Since Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson famously quit 2Day FM seven years ago, 13 breakfast hosts have come and gone.

It remains to be seen how Dave, Ed and Erin will perform.
