Romeo Beckham unveils his smouldering debut cover shoot for fashion bible L’Uomo Vogue

Bare it like Beckham! Romeo, 18, shows off his abs as he unveils his smouldering debut cover shoot for fashion bible L’Uomo Vogue

Romeo Beckham has added another string to an increasingly diverse bow by releasing his debut cover shoot with celebrated fashion bible L’Uomo Vogue.

The son of image conscious celebrity couple David and Victoria Beckham unveiled his latest project, a collaboration with fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, on Monday afternoon.

Shot on a freezing cold day in London shortly before Christmas, the new collection of shots capture Romeo, 18, modelling a mixture of designer and vintage clothing.

In the first Romeo runs a hand through his blonde hair – a bespoke look created exclusively by stylist Louis Ghewy in advance of his new shoot – while gazing balefully into Alas and Piggott’s camera lens.

In keeping with the shoot’s notably casual theme, the teenager wears an oversized green cardigan and grey joggers, teamed with distinctive black leather boots from Italian fashion house Prada.

A second image finds Romeo reveals a nicely toned set of abs as he poses in a teal vest, strategically raised by the teenager to exposed his slender torso.

With striking red drawstring trousers sitting low on his waist, Romeo also exposes a pair of loose fitting boxer shorts pulled high to rest beneath his navel.

In a third image he offers the camera a smouldering glance while leaning against a vintage model car during the London shoot.

The teenager, who admits he was thrilled to be approached for his first cover shoot by L’Uomo Vogue, adds to his look with a pair of distinctive, loose fitting leather shorts.

Fashion styling across every image in the shoot was handled by Danny Reed, whose previous clients include Burberry, Adidas, Topshop, Paul Smith and Supreme.

Taking to Instagram shortly after the photos were released on Monday, delighted mother Victoria shared the magazine’s cover shot with the accompanying caption: ‘Proud of you @RomeoBeckham.’

Dad David also shared the image with his 65-million followers, adding: ‘So proud of you @romeobeckham What an incredible first cover for @luomovogue.’

The latest edition of L’Uomo Vogue hits newstands on Friday 22nd January.
