Former Bachelorette Georgia Love was just brutally dumped from her dream job at Channel Ten.

But on Monday, Georgia, 31, and fiancé Lee Elliott, 38, appeared to be taking her new more relaxed lifestyle in their stride.

The loved-up couple couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces as they enjoyed a romantic mini-break in sunny Noosa, Queensland.

Georgia and Lee enjoyed a relaxed stroll together around restaurants in the resort town, before sitting down for a drink and a quick bite.

The Bachelorette star kept to a summery look by wearing a black jumpsuit, which flaunted her bronzed trim pins.

Georgia kept her look stylish with a pair of black cat-eye sunglasses and a floral hair accessory. She finished her look with a pair of Birkenstocks.

Lee kept his ensemble all-black by wearing a tight t-shirt along with a pair of black swim shorts. He wore his New York Yankees cap backwards.

Lee finished his look with a pair of sunglasses and a white pair of thongs.

Later, the couple stripped down to their swimwear while they relaxed by the pool.

It comes after Georgia was dumped from Channel Ten. On Saturday, a network spokesperson confirmed she no longer worked for the network.

They said in a statement: ‘During her time with Network 10, Georgia Love made a valuable contribution as a freelance reporter.

‘As with any casual position, the availability of work ebbs and flows with the requirements of the company.’

On Friday, The Daily Telegraph reported that Georgia had exited the role under ‘mysterious circumstances’.

An alleged source told the paper: ‘Nothing was really said about it … one day a memo just went around saying that “Georgia no longer works here”.’

The paper went on to claim that Georgia’s exit is believed to be part of the brutal Covid-19 cost cutbacks at the network last year, which saw at least 25 jobs slashed.

Georgia landed what she described as her dream job with the channel in 2017, as a reporter at Ten Eyewitness News Melbourne.

In June 2018, the former reality star announced she would be presenting the weather for Ten Eyewitness News.

She last posted a job-related Instagram image in October, in which she was depicted covering Derby Day.
