Bindi Irwin fight back tears as she talks about her pregnancy in Crikey! It’s The Irwins

They are set to welcome their first child together, a daughter, in the coming months. 

And now Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell have shared a glimpse of the emotional moment they announced the news.  

In a new trailer for the upcoming Season three of Crikey! It’s The Irwins, Bindi, 22, is seen holding back tears of joy as she speaks about her pregnancy.   

‘We’re actually expecting to have a baby,’ she gushed.

Meanwhile Chandler, 24, beams as he holds up a tiny version of the Australia Zoo uniform.  

The Wildlife Warrior also becomes visibly emotional when talking about her late father Steve Irwin and the work he started at Australia Zoo. 

‘We will make sure to carry on in dad’s footsteps and make sure that everything he lived and died for continues on,’ she says through tears as her mother Terri and brother Robert comfort her.  

Bindi and Chandler announced they were expecting their first child together in August last year, before later revealing they were having a girl. 

And last week, Bindi thrilled fans when she showed off her huge bare baby bump for the first time.

Bindi shared a photo of her husband of 10 months, Chandler Powell, kissing her bare baby belly on Instagram.

She also included a comparison photo of herself and her late father doing the same when her mother Terri was pregnant with her brother Robert. 

‘Recreating a very special moment. Third trimester love,’ she captioned the sweet post, including a red love heart emoji.
