‘My heart’: Stacey Solomon plays in the snow with her fiancé Joe Swash and son Rex

Stacey Solomon‘s heartstrings were pulled on Saturday as her fiancé Joe Swash pulled their son Rex around in a sleigh which he and his late father used when he was a child.

The Loose Women panellist, 31, became emotional over the sweet moment as they all played together in the snow near their Essex home.

‘My heart,’ Stacey captioned the Instagram post of Joe and Rex, before adding: ‘His sleigh is Joe’s childhood sleigh from when he was seven. His dad used to pull him around in it.’

Unfortunately Joe’s father, a London cab driver, passed away in hospital when he was 11 due to Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome.

Stacey revealed the trio spent the whole morning in the woods and her 20-month-old son was ‘confused’ by the snow, but nevertheless loved riding in their bright red sledge.

‘He loved it so much we didn’t want to come home,’ Stacey penned on her Instagram Story as she shared a video of her actor beau, 38, pulling Rex along.

‘So we stayed until we were soaked and now we are on our way home, excited to get the fire on. Happy Saturday.’

Stacey also joked that her ‘snowball backfired,’ because there wasn’t enough snow to form the mass.

She was seen sporting a cosy denim jacket with faux fur cuffs and sheepskin boots as she jumped in the sledge with her son.

The mother-of-three plaited her auburn tresses and enhanced her visage with a slick of make-up.

Stacey also co-parents Zachary, 12, with her former partner Dean Cox and Leighton, eight, with her ex-fiancé Aaron Barham. Meanwhile Joe is also father to Harry, 13, with his ex Emma Sophocleous.

Earlier this week, she hit back at a troll as she was criticised for having three different fathers to her three different boys.

As she took to Instagram to post her usual content, Stacey interrupted her stories to hit back at the message, which read: ‘It must be very sad having three different dads for your boys. Always apart. Oh well, I suppose you’re happy about it.’

The unkind comment was sparked when Stacey revealed that her boys had decided to stay at their dads’ houses to continue their homeschooling, as the UK is in lockdown and most schools remain closed to children.

Stacey wrote: ‘I’m really missing the big pickles today. They wanted to stay at their dads’ and because they are doing school from home they can…

‘I do get sad when they don’t want to come home but I know how happy it will make their dads and I never want to stop them from having the chance to make memories with their family. But oh my gosh I miss them.

‘It’s lovely for a couple of days, less mess, less noise but they the house just feels so empty and Rex looks for them everywhere’. (sic)

Once Stacey had spotted the critical comment, she said: ‘Woah there Wilma! Its far too early for that kind of judgement and of course I’m happy about it, they’re the best thing to ever happen to me regardless of how they happened to me.’

She then wrote over the top of the video: ‘Never let anyone make you feel like you’re not good enough just because things just happen to work out differently from the “norm”. Keep doing you the best way you know how…

‘Unconditional love from anywhere in different shapes and sizes is all they’ll need.’
