David Beckham enjoys arts and crafts with his three youngest children

He and his family flew to Miami on Christmas Day, reportedly crossing the Atlantic in the safety of a private jet amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

And David Beckham shared sweet snaps as he enjoyed an arts and crafts day with three of his children – Romeo, 18, Cruz, 15, and Harper, nine – on Saturday.

Taking to his Instagram stories, the former footballer, 45, showed off his kids’ artistic flare as they added bright colour to three large black-and-white sketches.

His only daughter Harper could be seen colouring with red, yellow and blue paint as she added her own touch to a drawing of an owl standing on a stack of books.

While Cruz opted for a graffiti-style with his artistic masterpiece, using lilac spray paint to add a brush of colour to a large sketch of a teddy bear.

He appeared to be hard at work as he leant over the easel to add his finishing touches to his multicoloured artwork.

And Romeo brought his love of football into his artwork as he painted on top of a basic sketch of a footballer kicking a ball high into the air.

David light-heartedly quipped that ‘of course’ Romeo had chosen to do a sports-themed painting during their fun-filled arts and crafts day.

And the doting father couldn’t help but get involved with the painting activities himself, as he was seen drawing a person donning a face mask and a beanie hat.

All the Beckhams kept themselves protected amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis by sporting face masks over their noses and mouths.

Neither his wife Victoria, 46, or their eldest son Brooklyn, 21, appeared to be present for the artistic activities in Miami, Florida.

Their fun-filled activities come after the family reportedly jetted to the US by private jet with their offspring on Christmas Day.

The Beckhams were said to have celebrated the New Year at the £30million mansion of Brookyln’s fiancée Nicola Peltz’s family.

But a source claimed David flew to Florida with his wife Victoria and their children because he has business there with his footballer team, Inter Miami.

The source told The Sun: ‘David and Victoria had been planning this trip for months.

‘David needed to be in Miami in January on Inter Miami duty because it’s the start of the MLS pre-season, and he is helping recruit new players.

‘He also hadn’t been able to get there since last March due to restrictions so it was an important trip.

‘After spending Christmas morning at their Cotwsolds home – which was Tier Two at the time – they all took Covid Tests before safely flying from a local airport via private jet to Florida.

‘Once in the US, Brooklyn was reunited with Nicola, and the two families spent some lovely quality time together.

‘Unfortunately, and in a scenario beyond their control, since being Stateside, lockdown mk iii came into effect.’

As a result of the latest lockdown, which was announced since the New Year, The Sun reported that the stars plan to homeschool their children remotely in the US for the next several weeks.

MailOnline has previously contacted representatives for David and Victoria Beckham for comment.

According to Tier 4 rules in place that were in place over much of the UK before the New Year, travel abroad is restricted unless it is for business purposes.

With the same restrictions applying as the nation is plunged into a third lockdown, Brits currently abroad can return to the UK, but are required to isolate for five days after testing negative for novel coronavirus.

The power couple, who tied the knot in 1999, were previously spending time with three of their children during England’s second lockdown at their Cotswolds home.

While Victoria and David’s eldest son Brooklyn was living in America with his fiancée Nicola, 25, at the time.
