But Jack Vidgen looked like the picture of happiness on Friday night as he celebrated his 23rd birthday in style while surrounded by pals in Sydney’s Bondi Beach.
The sun-kissed singer oozed confidence as he rocked up to Bondi’s Icebergs Club in the popular eastern suburb sporting a show-stopping baby pink suit, which he teamed with a crisp white T-shirt.

In a look which was worlds away from his jungle attire, the peroxide blond star donned a pair of expensive designer sunglasses on his polished visage, and teamed his ensemble with a pair of casual white trainers.
Once inside, Jack appeared to be having a whale of a time as he enjoyed a glass of rosé wine, before his pals brought out a cute birthday cake to celebrate the happy occasion.
Jack has been praised by fans for being so open and honest during his stint on the show, discussing difficult topics such as his strained relationship with his mother.

He also revealed on Sunday’s episode that he ‘probably would have been ready’ to come out (as gay) sooner, had he not been thrust into the spotlight.
‘I feel like I probably would have been ready to come out earlier. But probably because, just everything that happened and being known and in the public… and also [Australia’s Got Talent],’ Jack told co-star Robert ‘Dipper’ DiPierdomenico.
Jack revealed how he had a girlfriend from age 17 to 19, that was more of a ‘glorified friendship’, and felt ready to come out as gay when he started seeing his ex again.
‘Oh it was incredible,’ he said of how it felt to come out as gay to friends and family. ‘[It was] one of the most incredible feelings of my life.’

Jack admitted however that he struggled over how some would perceive his sexuality.
‘It becomes just something in your head that’s like… dirty and disturbed. And it becomes… you think something’s perverted when it really isn’t,’ he said.
‘Love is love… but hearing other people accept it and say, “That’s so normal. That’s so okay”,’ he went on to say.
Jack publicly came out as gay in May 2019, when he was staging his comeback on hit series, The Voice.
He told New Idea magazine at the time: ‘Hopefully I’ll find a husband!’
