Professional golfer Montana Strauss is set to compete in Channel Seven’s new mini golf-themed reality show Holey Moley.

The 24-year-old brunette bombshell applied for the program after relocating to the Gold Coast from Melbourne amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Montana competed in the Australian Women’s Amateur golf competition in 2012, as well as the St. Rule Trophy in 2017 and the 2019 Pacific Bay Resort Australian Ladies Classic Bonville.

She told The Daily Telegraph, she applied for the show while the WPGA Australasian tour was on hold.

‘I thought it would be, at the least, a bit of fun,’ she told the publication.

‘Getting girls interested in golf is not easy. It’s a hard sport to recruit to so I thought maybe this could be a way to shine a bit of a light on the sport and get a few more girls out playing,’ she said.

Golfers James Carr, Colette Norton, Becky Kay and Henry Epstein will also appear on Holey Moley, Mumbrella reported.

The show will be hosted by Sonia Kruger alongside sportscaster Matt Shirvington, golf legend Greg Norman and actor Rob Riggle.

Channel Seven said in their announcement: ‘The ultimate winner of each episode takes home the prestigious plaid jacket, the golden putter and books a spot in the Grand Final, where they will compete for the chance to win $100,000 on the daunting last hole, the Tomb of Nefer-Tee-Tee.’

Career: Montana competed in the Australian Women's Amateur golf competition in 2012, as well as the St. Rule Trophy in 2017 and the 2019 Pacific Bay Resort Australian Ladies Classic Bonville

The ‘kooky’ obstacle course on Holey Moley will be its biggest feature.

If it’s anything like the U.S. version, Holey Moley will be filled with supersized windmills for participants to run thorough, rolling logs for them to jump over and a pretend ski slope to climb up.

Water pits, fire flames and screaming Army marshals are also featured in the American series as participants try to maneuver their way from start to finish.
