Roxy Jacenko loses another high-profile friend, ‘chicken heiress’ Jess Ingham

Roxy Jacenko has cut ties with yet another high-profile friend, after she abruptly dropped her longtime pal and PR client Candice Warner last year.

The latest associate to get the chop is billionaire chicken heiress Jess Ingham.

The Sydney socialites, who once considered themselves ‘sisters’, are believed to have recently fallen out and have even unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Oh no! PR mogul Roxy Jacenko (left) has apparently lost ANOTHER high-profile friend – chicken heiress Jess Ingham (right) – with the pair believed to have not spoken since November

The two women apparently haven’t spoken to each other since November, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.

An insider claimed Jess’ had always been loyal to the outspoken publicist – even when Roxy’s husband, former investment banker Oliver Curtis, was jailed for insider trading in 2016.

The pair allegedly started to grow apart when media outlets began covering Jess’ lavish personal life – and Roxy, who ‘loves being the brightest star’, became jealous.

While Jess refused to comment on the state of their friendship, she did confirm to the publication she was no longer in business with Roxy.

The pair had launched candle company XRJCelebrations in August 2020.

Roxy declined to get into the specifics of her falling out with Jess when approached for comment by Daily Mail Australia.

The rift with Jess is just the latest in a string of feuds for Roxy, who is known for her fractured relationships with several former friends.

CANDICE WARNER

Last year, Roxy cut ties with one-time friend and client Candice Warner after the cricket WAG punched her in the face as part of a challenge on SAS Australia.

While Candice happily took several swipes at Roxy, the Sydney PR queen refused to retaliate because of their longstanding friendship.

‘You know what? Is [Candice] really my friend anymore? No,’ Roxy told The Kyle and Jackie O Show the morning after their brawl aired on television.

‘The reality is, I can’t punch my then-friend in the face for people’s entertainment… You look back and go, “F**k, I should have whacked her one,” but you know what? I’m bigger than that and I’ve got respect for other people,’ she continued.

Roxy said she’d reached out to Candice after filming the show in the NSW Snowy Mountains in August and tried to repair their broken friendship.

But instead of accepting the olive branch, Roxy claimed that Candice simply ‘sacked her’ as her manager instead.

Candice has since signed with The Society Agency, the main competitor of Roxy’s influencer management company, The Ministry of Talent, and told Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa radio show she wasn’t ‘losing sleep’ over the feud.

FRANCESCA PACKER

Roxy’s war of words with Candice was followed by her rumoured rift with another longtime friend, millionaire socialite Francesca Packer.

The Sun-Herald claimed in December they had ‘abruptly parted company, both professionally and personally’.

This was supposedly the reason why Roxy hadn’t attended Francesca’s star-studded 26th birthday party on Sydney Harbour on November 29.

But Roxy later denied there was any bad blood between the two, telling Daily Mail Australia on December 11: ‘There is no feud. She’s a lovely girl, and I’ve been around her since she was 20 years of age.’

HOLLY ASSER

Last month, publicist Holly Asser broke her silence on the circumstances surrounding her exit from Roxy’s Sweaty Betty PR firm in 2018.

Holly, 28, confirmed in an Instagram Q&A she was no longer speaking to Roxy, and hinted that her departure from the company may not have been amicable.

‘My departure was a little while coming and I think if you’re familiar with the company you might know why my friends and I decided to move on,’ she said.

Holly’s reference to her friends leaving the company at about the same time aligns with two staff departures in early 2019: Grace Garrick and Daniel Goldstein.

STEPHANIE RICE

Olympic swimmer Stephanie Rice famously butted heads with Roxy on the 2013 season of Celebrity Apprentice.

Stephanie revealed in 2018 that she had moved on from the on-air stoush, despite Roxy continuing to bring up the fracas in interviews.

‘It doesn’t impact my life in any way,’ she told the Sydney Morning Herald at the time. ‘For me, and it doesn’t matter who the person is, if you hold on to grudges or negative experiences, you don’t allow yourself to move on.’

The main reason for the falling out was Roxy appearing to have an issue with Stephanie’s perceived lack of effort during challenges.

In November 2014, Roxy said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show that she would not be repairing her relationship with Stephanie, following a series of spats on the show.

‘I won’t be mending it,’ she said bluntly. ‘Without question Stephanie Rice was one of the rudest and laziest people I have ever met.’

NICK JACENKO

Roxy is sadly estranged from her own father, Nick Jacenko.

She revealed in an Instagram post in 2018 that Nick and his wife, fashion designer Lisa Ho, were on her list of ‘haters’.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the private family tension was made public in 2016 when Roxy allegedly verbally and physically assaulted Nick on the streets of Sydney.

GOSSIP JOURNALISTS

Roxy has a longstanding feud with Andrew Hornery, the acid-tongued gossip columnist for The Sydney Morning Herald.

While their disagreements are well-documented, her main quarrel with the journalist is the fact he frequently refers to her in his column as a ‘publicity-seeking missile’.
