Olivia Palermo puts on a traffic-stopping display as she works a chic fur coat

She’s a style maven who sets fashion trends everywhere she goes.

And even the simplest of black ensembles still looked elegant on Olivia Palermo, when she was seen on a walk in New York City on Monday.

The fashion influencer, 34, wore a chic shaggy black fur bomber jacket, along with what looked to be black pleather leggings.

On her feet, the Olivia Palermo Group founder donned black hightop combat boots.

The socialite also wore a headband in black, and had her brown hair worn straight down her back.  

Her face mask, worn to protect against the ongoing threat of coronavirus, was black and textured with a pattern. 

Olivia sported artsy cat eye sunglasses, also in black. 

She added hints of color with the ribbed cream knit turtleneck worn underneath her jacket, as well as a touch of hot pink via her manicure. 

Palermo carried her smartphone and a petite white shopping bag in one hand. 

While the influencer has 6.4 million followers and regularly posts both clothing and lifestyle product plugs, Olivia is also somewhat politically minded. 

In addition to having posed with President-elect Joe Biden in the past, Palermo also recently commented on last week’s riot at the Capitol in Washington DC.

Posting a stunning picture of New York City at sunset on Monday, she wrote the message, ‘Went into the first week of 2021 with some renewed energy and I think we can all agree that last week took an unexpected turn ↩️
