Malin penned: ‘There are a ton of journeys I’ve been on and one of the longest & toughest ones was learning how to love the skin I’m in….

‘It was a rollercoaster ride that consumed all my teenage and early adult years, a journey which I wouldn’t wish on any of you…

‘Coming back from Dubai after a month of no routine, alcohol and unlimited food – I looked in the mirror earlier and was pleasantly surprised at the fact I didn’t feel an ounce of shame or guilt.. (we all have our days, but mine are happily over.)

‘With the added pressure of lockdown again, we all feel that we have to incorporate a strict routine and eat well in fear of ‘gaining weight’.. and honestly I think it’s great to be healthy – but healthy doesn’t mean putting PRESSURE on yourself…

‘I did about 15 mins of exercise and felt sick today and then stopped.. I then said to myself ‘cool, I’ll do 20 tomorrow.’

‘Finding balance in everything is important for us to be able to flow through this thing called life without carrying any negative or draining emotion. Allowing yourself the freedom to choose, and to make choices best for yourself, nobody else.

‘Today choose to be kinder to you. Let go of society’s expectation and go at your OWN steady pace.. this isn’t a race – this is your precious mental health.. take away any comparison to others appearances and keep your eyes on your journey.

‘Your journey is valid. You are important.’

'Out of touch': Malin was  slammed by her followers for uploading a video of herself living it up in Dubai, mere hours after the U.K's national lockdown was announced

‘Out of touch’: Malin was  slammed by her followers for uploading a video of herself living it up in Dubai, mere hours after the U.K’s national lockdown was announced

Her post comes after Malin slammed trolls as she returned home from Dubai, after receiving criticism for posting a holiday video hours after the UK entered lockdown.

She was branded ‘out of touch’ earlier in the day after posting a video of herself frolicking in a private pool in a blue bikini while lockdown restrictions increased amid spiralling infection rates.

Malin took to Instagram to reveal she was leaving the UAE after extending her stay, sharing snaps of her ‘last supper’ and rooftop pool before filming a video from her taxi en-route to the airport in which she called out a troll.

She posted a screenshot of a message from a follower which referenced the tragic death of her newborn daughter Consy  in 2019.

The message read: ‘I appreciate a lot that you are always trying to cheer people up but your Dubai posts were really demotivating.

‘People feel locked in and were not able to see their loved ones for months now. You probably wouldn’t appreciate either watching someone else enjoying life with their healthy child when you lost yours.’

She said: ‘I’ve extended way too long I’ve got loads of work to do. Also I started randomly getting loads of abuse yesterday after being here for a month

‘I will expose any more p****s that message me because that is not on. When you’re bringing other stuff in. That is very disgusting. But we stay positive, I’m not letting this negative energy affect me. I need to repel all this dark energy.’

It comes after Malin extended her stay in Dubai last week, before Boris Johnson‘s announcement, however she has now returned.
