Chloe Madeley says she has ‘no shame’ after her mother Judy’s dress slipped down while on stage at the NTAs

Chloe Madeley has joked that she feels ‘no shame’ after her mother Judy’s dress slipped down while on stage at the National Television Awards.

The fitness fanatic, 33, said she likes doing ‘sexy shoots’ and ‘prancing around in her underwear, adding her parents escapades help her overcome any embarrassment.

Something which has helped her shed the embarrassment was when her mother and TV presenter Judy revealed her bra at the 2000 awards ceremony.

No shame: Chloe Madeley, the daughter of TV presenters Richard and Judy, has said she has ‘no shame’ following her parents’ escapades

Chloe said that she was 13 when Judy accidentally exposed her bra while accepting an award with her husband Richard, with whom she co-presented ITV’s This Morning.

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, she added that her older brother Jack had ‘a complete meltdown’ and said ‘no no no no no’, but she didn’t care as long as Judy was okay.

She continued: ‘And she was like, “Oh, it’s fine. It’s funny. Thank God I was wearing a bra. Imagine if I hadn’t been”.

‘Being in the public eye, if you can’t laugh at yourself, you’re gonna hate every second of it.

‘I’ve generally got no shame. I really like doing sexy shoots, I love just prancing around in my underwear. And I’ve learned from my parents not to take myself too seriously.’

She was glad John Leslie was there as the family friend stepped in to help Judy out.

Chloe, who is married to former Wasps and England rugby union player James Haskell, 35, rang her parents as soon as they got off stage, and asked her to tell her that she was okay.

Chloe also revealed she has gone up two dress sizes after putting on weight during the lockdowns.

She recently revealed she felt ‘like death’ when she was in her ‘best possible shape’ as she felt pressure to maintain her physique.

The personal trainer opened up on maintaining her ripped figure, explaining that the time she was at her peak fitness was a ‘horrible period’.

Chloe told how being in that shape is no longer worth the effort and she no longer ‘cares’ what she looks like now, so long as she’s ‘fit and healthy’.

She told Closer magazine: ‘When I first started training, I had all the confidence in the world but, somewhere in the middle, I felt a tremendous amount of pressure to always look in shape because of what I do.

‘That was a horrible period, but I’ve matured a lot in terms of my relationship with my body. I know how to get in “shredded shape”, but I know how much work that takes and it’s not worth my whole life.’

She added: ‘When I look in the best shape possible, someone would look at me and be like, Oh my gosh, she must be so fit and healthy.’ “That’s when I feel like death. My body fat is low, I’m tired and grumpy.’

Chloe went on to describe the feeling as having ‘permanent PMS all the time’ adding that people didn’t ‘realise’ how she felt when complimenting her.

The fitness enthusiast went on to say that she adopted a more relaxed approach to diet and fitness during lockdown, thanks to the help of her rugby star husband James Haskell.
