Pregnant Fiona Falkiner details her mother Jill’s ongoing battle with Alzheimer’s – and reveals ‘the past year has not been good for her’
She will soon welcome her first child, a son, with fiancée Hayley Willis.
But on Wednesday, Fiona Falkiner turned her attention to somebody else close to her heart – her 71-year-old mother, Jill.
In an emotional post on Instagram, the former Biggest Loser host, 37, revealed her mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s – and how she gets ‘so much joy out of dancing and singing’.

‘We had not seen mum in over a year and my beautiful fiancé @hayley_willis spent a lot of time with her over Christmas making her laugh and smile, which is getting harder to do as this disease takes hold,’ Fiona captioned her post.
‘One of the many reasons I love her… Just a reminder to hold your loved ones tight.’
Fiona went on to reveal two short clips of Hayley dancing with Jill.
She added her mother loved dancing with the wiggles – and that ‘the past year has not been good for her’.

‘We are all lucky we got to spend Christmas with her’: Fiona went on to reveal two short clips of Hayley dancing with Jill.
‘This past year has not been good for her not being around people or family,’ the expectant mother wrote. ‘She has deteriorated a lot but we are all lucky we got to spend Christmas with her.’
This comes after Fiona revealed her plans for a nursery on December 29.
‘Painting the nursery, Hayley getting distracted with all the baby toys,’ she captioned a post to Instagram.

In the short video, Fiona smiles while flaunting her burgeoning baby bump.
In the background, Hayley tried to work out the settings on an electronic baby bouncer.
She then tested out the device by strapping a teddy bear in the seat.
