Holly Willoughby was praised by This Morning fans on Wednesday as she gave away her own printer to help a struggling mum with homeschooling her children.

The presenter, 39, made the kind gesture during a heartwarming phone-in segment alongside co-star Phillip Schofield, 58, and agony aunt Deidre Saunders.

Touched my one mum’s struggle to provide resources to home school her children properly, Holly offered up her own spare printer, with fans hailing her a ‘really lovely person.’

So kind: Holly Willoughby was praised by This Morning fans on Wednesday as she gave away her own printer to help a struggling mum with homeschooling her children

The mum in question, called June, had called in to the show to reveal she was overwhelmed by the prospect of home schooling once again following the announcement of another national lockdown.

During the call, she mentioned that she didn’t own a printer as she contemplated whether it could help her organise lessons with her kids.

Feeling sympathetic towards June, Holly – who is a mum to three children herself – then declared that she would personally send her own equipment as she had a spare printer.

She told June: ‘Please don’t worry if you don’t home school every day.

‘I actually have a spare printer you can have that printer! It’s just sitting at home and we never use it.

‘I will bring it in tomorrow and you can have it, and that will sort your printer issue out. I’ll bring it in so stay on the lines.’

A thrilled June was clearly grateful for Holly’s gesture as she exclaimed: ‘Oh alright, yes, thank you so much Holly!’
