Gordon Ramsay reveals wife Tana wants to have a SIXTH child

Gordon Ramsay has revealed his wife Tana is keen to have a sixth child – and wants to start trying during the current lockdown. 

The couple are already parents to Megan, 22, twins Holly and Jack, 21, Matilda, 19, and Oscar, 19 months.

But celeb chef Gordon, 54, spoke to Jimmy Fallon via video link on Monday, claiming Tana, 46, ‘is asking for a sixth across the lockdown’.

‘Lterally two hours ago our prime minister has announced we are in lockdown now until the frigging 15th of February,’ Gordon said, speaking to Jimmy shortly after Boris Johnson plunged the UK into a third national lockdown.

‘So [Tana] said we have good news. You are up late talking to Jimmy. Tomorrow night we go for number six!’

Gordon didn’t seem particularly enthused by the idea, explaining that the family’s new pet French bulldog proves to be enough of a handful without a newborn being thrown into the mix. 

‘Oh my goodness he has been a mess, and he is still going through that period of being house trained,’ he said of the dog. ‘You can always tell when the dog s***s because the smell rises and even before you open the bedroom door in the morning you think oh my God. It used to be gravy. Now it is dog s**t.’

He explained that of their children, youngest Oscar is most likely to take after his father in the cooking world.

‘Oscar is my last hope of getting anyone into the industry. Everyone has left the nest and nobody wants to cook,’ he said.

Gordon and Tana tragically lost a baby boy, Rocky, when Tana was five months pregnant in 2016.

Just last week they celebrated their twins 21st birthday, vowing to give them a ‘monumental celebration’ in the summer.

The doting parents took to Instagram on Thursday to share sweet snaps of the twins as they gushed over their children and how ‘proud’ they are of their ‘passion and respect for others’.

Gordon revealed the family will be waiting to celebrate their big day until the summer when hopefully the Covid pandemic will be more under control. 

He shared a snap of Jack and Holly in front of a large chocolate cake, as they beamed while posing in a restaurant. 

The normally sharp-tongued TV star captioned the post: ‘Happy 21st Birthday to our twins Jack & Holly, what a year it’s been, proud of your passion and respect for others ,we will celebrate this monumental birthday in the summer love dad X’. 

Tana shared a series of snaps, including their decorated dining room with large gold foil balloons, which read ‘J21 H21’, with a series of hearts and stars in the middle. 

In the second pic, Jack wore a grey Mickey Mouse t-shirt with a black shirt open over the top while Holly wore a black dress and a necklace with a heart pendant. 

Tana also shared a pic of the pair with WHSmith carrier bags as they sat in the airport waiting area. Jack scowled at the camera while Holly held her fingers in a ‘peace’ sign. 

She wrote: ‘Happy Happy 21st Birthday Jack and Holly x just being with you two today is the very best thing x.’ 

Earlier this month, Gordon got reminiscent as he marked he and Tana’s 24th wedding anniversary, by dedicating a throwback post to her. 

The chef took to Instagram to share the post, which showed the then-newlyweds beaming as they stood beside one another after exchanging nuptials. 

Captioning the heart-warming image, Gordon gushed: ‘Happy anniversary to this gorgeous lady 24yrs today @tanaramsay love you X.’
