Michelle Keegan resumes filming for series 3 of Brassic in Manchester city centre 

She stars as Erin Croft in the Sky comedy-drama, Brassic.

And Michelle Keegan appeared to have resumed shooting for the third series of the show on Tuesday afternoon, as she filmed scenes in Manchester city centre.

The 33-year-old actress’ character was sporting a thigh-grazing leopard print mini-dress with a pair of thigh-high boots as she exited a venue.

Michelle was last pictured filming Brassic before Christmas, however it appears the show has now resumed shooting following the festive break.

The former Coronation Street star kept warm in a padded cream jacket with a fur-trim hood, while layering with another coat in between scenes.

Michelle wore her glossy brunette locks in loose waves, while sweeping some strands into a half up half down style.

Michelle was carrying a drink in one hand and her phone in the other, while ensuring she stayed safe by covering her face with a blue surgical mask.

While filming was halted her fellow cast and crew members could also be seen masking up.

Last year Michelle was forced to pause Brassic filming when she was exposed to Covid and had to self-isolate for two weeks. 

While she had come into contact with the virus, she had not contracted it.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Michelle had to take time away from the Brassic set once again and has been laying low in Essex with her husband Mark Wright. 

‘She only missed one day of filming. But she needed to isolate after she came into contact with someone in Manchester who had it.

‘Luckily it all happened very quickly and Michelle did not return to the Brassic set before isolating. So it didn’t affect filming too much.

‘She has spent last two weeks in total isolation. She will go back to filming at the end of this week.’

MailOnline understands that Brassic worked around this and continued to films scenes Michelle doesn’t feature in.
