Anna Vakili stepped out for the first time following the completion of her isolation period after testing positive for coronavirus last month on Tuesday.

The Love Island star, 30, headed for a rainy walk with her sister Mandi, 28, but bemoaned the weather conditions in the UK on her Instagram Story.

Anna admitted that she ‘doesn’t blame’ people who have fled the UK in search of warmer climates, amid growing furore over reality stars dodging lockdown and heading to Dubai.

Many celebs have claimed they need to be in the United Arab Emirates for ‘business purposes’ in recent weeks, as they escape the UK with a valid travel reason.

Giving her followers an update, Anna said: ‘I am totally symptom free now, so I can go for walks. Going for my first one today. I feel really s**t about this lockdown. I have put on so much weight.

‘I know everyone says you look good you should be happy, but I’m not. I’ve put on a ridiculous amount of weight.

‘I’m going for a really long walk now but I just really want this lockdown to be a healthy one and get to the best version of myself. But it’s raining, can’t even go for a nice walk in this country.

‘I don’t blame people at all for wanting to get away.

Anna and Mandi’s parents have also tested positive for the virus and were previously bed bound as they battled the condition.

However reassuring that her parents were on the mend, she said: ‘Update on my parents, mum is much better and dad is much better the past day or two, not bed bound anymore.

‘For anyone wondering if we should be isolating, on the NHS website it has been 10 days since their first symptom. They don’t have a high temperature, vomiting or diarrhoea anymore.

‘They don’t even need to isolate, they just have lingering symptoms.’

Last week, Anna updated fans on her coronavirus battle in an Instagram clip as she insisted she’s ‘on the road to getting to 100% by New Year’s’ after days of experiencing ‘bad shakes, nausea and a headache’.

The TV star thanked fellow social media users for their support and said she felt ‘lucky’ to be spending the festive season with her family.

Going make-up free in the video, the model detailed her symptoms as she explained from her bed: ‘Hey guys, I had so many messages from you guys asking about my symptoms.

‘I feel like it’s almost my duty to do that because as I didn’t have the typical symptoms, you’d know that… everyone is self-isolating anyway but still. My main symptom was really bad shakes. I was really cold for the first few days.’

She admitted she wasn’t aware that she had caught the disease as she didn’t suffer from the main signs.

Anna shared: ‘I was freezing and felt like I had a temperature but it wasn’t so high – that’s why I didn’t think it was Covid. But I was constantly cold and shaking, to the point that I couldn’t get out of bed.

‘The cough came after four days. Other than that, I had a bit of nausea and a bit of a sinus headache.’

The bombshell went on to share that she’s on the mend as she added: ‘Now my temperature is back to normal, I’m not shaking anymore, nausea is gone and I had my headache up until this morning, thankfully it’s gone.

‘I feel really lucky, I’m definitely on the road to getting to 100% again, hopefully by New Year’s. Thank you everyone for your kind messages, it’s not really how I imagined Christmas or New Year’s. I still feel lucky to be around my family.’

Anna ended her post by revealing she and her younger sibling’s battles were different, while her 69-year-old father was barely affected by COVID-19.
