Dog-owner has to check her sofa before sitting as dogs blend into velvet cushions

Can YOU spot Rocco the French bulldog? New dog-owner discovers her lockdown pet matches her sofa

  • Tina Grantham, 44, bought French bulldogs Rocco and Vinnie during lockdown
  • The nine-month-old puppies have merle markings, matching her velvet settee
  • Mother-of-two, from Lincolnshire, must look before collapsing onto the couch

Tina Grantham has to look twice before she sits on her sofa – lest she put her puppies in peril.

French bulldogs Rocco and Vinnie have merle markings, which make them a perfect match for Mrs Grantham’s velvet settee.

As a result, the mother of two must take extra care before collapsing onto the couch.

The 44-year-old, who works for her family’s demolition company along with husband Simon, 47, said of the dogs: ‘I don’t think they know they are camouflaged with the couch… but they spend a lot of time hiding behind the cushions and peeking out.

‘Rocco is very loving, calm, and so photogenic. Vinnie is very independent… he likes snuggles but also loves being on his own.’

The family, from Lincolnshire, bought the nine-month-old puppies for £5,000 during lockdown.

They had only intended to take one home – but sons Harley, 11, and Flynn, five, each fell for different dogs.

The Granthams also have a labrador called Alfie and an older French bulldog, Blue – who is grey.
