She said: ‘It was time to go after five years on Loose Women… And you know when you just know it’s the right time to take that plunge and focus on other things… looking for new adventures.
‘You just have to do it, you can’t think ahead “what if, what, maybe?” Believe in yourself, believe in your ability, believe in your own karma you created.’
The fitness fanatic also urged her fans to be real, adding: ‘Be honest, be authentic, you have to take your time. I’ve done five years on Loose Women – I had a great time but it is time to move on.’
Saira explained that she decided to leave the show after spending time with her family during lockdown and reflecting on her life at 50.

She continued: ‘All those things have really come together, you have to jump and make things happen.
‘It was a difficult decision, but when you feel there is nothing left to share on a show that is all about sharing, it’s time to bow out.
‘I think I’ve shown everyone I’m an opinionated, strong woman, but now I want to focus on pursuing other media projects, running my skincare business, Saira Skin, and developing my love for wellness.
‘Others too have found that Covid has given them the kick they needed to quit jobs that don’t bring them satisfaction, and to try something new.’

And in a post shared on Instagram on Sunday, she spoke more about her decision to move on, as well as her hope for how it would shape the show in the future.
Sharing a snap of herself on a magazine cover, she wrote: ‘Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do…

‘So for me change comes at the beginning of 2021 by leaving a familiar seat on @loosewomen . It wasn’t an easy decision, but one that I needed to make in order to grow myself in other ways.
‘I came to the show a troubled soul and I will eternally be grateful for the platform @loosewomen gave me to share, speak up and out.
‘I will miss the great women who have become my very close friends. I feel honoured and privileged to have sat alongside them and learnt from them.
