Roughly halfway through her tour, Waddell mentioned that the room she wanted to sage she called the ‘divorce room’ because she’s, ‘trying to make new memories here.’

‘I call this the divorce room because this is where Evan told me he wanted a divorce,’ Waddell said, adding that she was ‘sitting right where I’m sitting’ when he told her, also clearing up rumors that she left him.

She added that she wanted to sage the room, so every time she walks into this room she doesn’t, ‘feel that energy.’

The cruise ship singer added that, before their split, the couple put in offers on three houses, but they all fell through because of issues with the houses themselves.

‘Then I found this house and Evan told me to buy this house, so I did… and then… he told me he didn’t want to live in it, so here we are’ Waddell added.

She then addressed their relationship further, sharing, ‘We tried for a really long time to make it work. We went to therapy.

‘We focused a lot more on the kids than we focused on ourselves and, ultimately, I think that was our biggest downfall. The kids kind of came to the top of the pyramid and we never put ourselves at the top. If you don’t have a foundation for yourself, then you crumble,’ she said.

Waddell added that the past two years have been ‘really hard,’ and while they kept trying to figure it out, she made it clear that if he wanted out, he had to make the move.

‘I always told him, if he wanted out it was his call because I just am not a person that would ever be out. So, what are you gonna do? If somebody doesn’t wanna be with you, they don’t wanna be with you and you sage, so that’s what we’re doing,’ she said.

She added at the end of the video that it’s the last time she wants to talk about her split, ‘because I don’t want to be sad anymore. I want to be happy!’
