Bella Hadid keeps it casual with a ‘Whassup’ shirt as she hits the ski slopes in Aspen

She partied around a fire pit in Aspen with some of her model friends to ring in the new year.

And Bella Hadid was still in the exclusive winter wonderland on Sunday as she hit the slopes for an invigorating round of skiing.

The 24-year-old model opened her thick jacket to cool down and revealed her casual white shirt reading ‘Whassup’ over her chest.

Bella had on a puffy black down jacket, as well as a turtleneck underneath for extra layering.

She matched her shirt with white pants and an off-white belt. 

The 5ft9in catwalk star wore her red-tinted brunette locks down over her shoulders, and she she covered up with a red ski cap and thick reflective goggles.

Unlike her friend Kendall Jenner, who was vacationing in Aspen at the same time, Bella preferred to go skiing rather than snowboarding. 

Bella’s ski trip seems to have imbued her with a sense of nostalgia, as she posted a photo of a decades-old ski pass to her Instagram Stories on Sunday.

‘My first ski pass picture,’ she captioned the pixelated image of herself as a child. 

She was attracted to the same skiing destination, and she captioned a photo of herself in the present with, ‘Same mountain, 20 years later.’ 

The model looked triumphant in another photo of her raising her ski poles in the air as if they were antennae.

‘Thank you for my ski fit,’ she wrote while tagging Casey Cadwallader, the creative director of Mugler.

Before she was one of the most successful models in the world, Bella was a noted equestrian Olympic hopeful, so her eyes were drawn to horses on her vacation.

She posted a photo of a brown horse with a white snout to her Insta Stories, captioning it, ‘I [heart] you.’

Another photo showed two adorable miniature ponies as she crouched down to get on their level.
