Coronation Street’s Sair Khan steps out with a male companion

Coronation Street actress Sair Khan stepped out for a New Year’s stroll on Saturday afternoon in Castlefield, Manchester.

Accompanying her was a mystery male companion, the pair of them wrapped up against the chilly winter weather.

As the snow fell, the duo walked along the canals, both in black coats. 

Sair, 32, wore a long trench over a Burberry scarf, black jeans and chunky boots.

She added mittens and a red beanie hat to the look, her raven locks sleekly falling around her shoulders.

The Corrie starlet added delicate make-up to her pretty features.

Her pal looked more casual in a puffer jacket, hoodie, trainers and a black beanie. 

While nothing suggested Sair and the tall gentleman are romantically involved, she is said to have been since since September 2019, when she split from her boyfriend Simon Lennon after nearly two years together.

The actress’ relationship reportedly hit ‘breaking point’ due to the pair spending time apart while she trained for Channel 4’s Sink Or Swim.

Sair and Simon, who is six years younger than her, had a glamorous start to their relationship as they revealed they met at a charity event at Buckingham Palace.

A source told The Sun at the time: ‘Sair has found the challenge of learning to swim from scratch really tough. 

‘Training has been more difficult than she expected and it has really taken its toll on her emotionally and pushed her relationship to breaking point.

‘Previously, the pair spent a lot of their spare time together, now both of them have huge work commitments and are at pivotal times in their careers, they have tried to make it work but are taking some time to give each other breathing space.’ 

Sair was filming Sink Or Swim for Stand Up To Cancer, after her mother’s heartbreaking death in 2019.

She was tasked with swimming the Channel in a relay swim for the charity.
