Love Island Australia couple Anna McEvoy and Josh Packman announced their sad split in November.
But it would appear Anna is no longer dwelling on their breakup, and is instead embracing her newly-single status.
The 28-year-old reality TV star was spotted sharing a steamy kiss with a female friend on New Year’s Eve in Melbourne.

Anna was attending the Together Events’ Melbourne NYE party with friends, alongside a host of other reality stars and influencers.
Joking that she no longer had a boyfriend to ring in the new year with, Anna chose to improve when the clock struck midnight.
‘When you don’t have a boy to kiss, so you kiss your bestie,’ the blonde cheekily captioned a video kissing a female friend.
The steamy smooch lasted some time, as the pair closed their eyes during the celebrations happening around them.

Just two months earlier, Anna had cried in an emotional video posted to Instagram which detailed her split from Love Island co-star Josh.
She admitted that the breakup had been difficult for her, adding: ‘There’s just a lot going on.’
Josh is now back in Sydney, after self-isolating in Darwin for two weeks first after fleeing the Melbourne home he shared with Anna following their split.
In early November, the pair announced their sad split, telling fans it was the ‘right thing to do’.
‘It’s extremely difficult to break up with someone who you still love but it is the right thing to do,’ Anna said at the time.

While Anna’s post did not offer a reason why the couple had split, Josh’s shed some light on the situation.
‘We have had an amazing journey but unfortunately sometimes relationships don’t work out and two people grow apart,’ he said in a post on his Instagram Stories.
The former couple, who moved in together in June after six months of dating, had previously shared how Victoria’s strict lockdown had put a strain on their relationship.
‘We’ve definitely stepped on each others toes too much being stuck in an apartment, trapped,’ Josh admitted to fans in a YouTube video in September, when one asked how their relationship was travelling.
‘I’m sure heaps of people feel the same way.
‘Sometimes in a relationship you need a bit of space from one another for it to be healthy, but Covid lockdown does not allow for that.’
