Brad Paisley is offering his support to a Texas-born musician, named Buck McCoy, who is one of the many survivors from Nashville’s Christmas Day bombing.

After watching the singer-songwriter reunite with his lost cat on television this week, after six days apart due to the explosion, the 48-year-old country star reached out to extend his condolences and a guitar from his enviable collection of instruments.

The gift will allow the entertainer, whose home was left in shambles and belongings destroyed, to return to his gig performing at Legends Corner every weekend.

While McCoy is mourning the loss of his apartment and material possessions, he was overjoyed when his beloved feline, Molly, was found alive on Thursday.

‘There was a car on fire. The windows were gone. Everything I owned was sprawled around the room,’ he recalled to WZTV, before noting his furry companion was nowhere to be found and he was forced to crawl over glass and debris to make it to safety.

Leaving without Molly, however, was not his choice as he stayed looking for her until a fireman told him to ‘get out of here now.’

Afterward, he said: ‘I said I’m going back into this burning building to look for my cat.’

A week later, Molly was found safe and their story captured hearts around Music City, including Paisley’s.

She was reportedly found ‘under the covers on the bed’ and sustained injuries such as a fracture in her pelvis, dehydration and hypernatremia.
