Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks is reconciling with husband Seth

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks is giving love another chance with her husband Seth.

It was reported in early December that the reality star and her husband had split after hitting, ‘a dark place’ in their marriage. 

Now the couple, who married in 1996, are reconciling, according to People, after agreeing to see a marriage counselor.

‘We love each other. He’s my best friend and he always will be,’ Meredith said, adding that after seeing the therapist, they realized their marriage is worth fighting for.

‘We decided to try and start over. We just hit some blips in the road and needed to regroup and reconnect,’ she added.

“While we have had many other separations in the past and at times dated other people, last winter during filming we were not dating other people and we very focused to see if we could repair our relationship,’ she clarified.

After an unspecified time in therapy, the reality star added that the couple felt, ‘very strong, very united’ and were, ‘feeling very positive’ about their future.

The couple have three kids who are all in college – Reid, Chloe and Brooks – with Meredith’s official bio on Bravo stating the couple hit, ‘a rough patch’ as Meredith, ‘is faced with being an empty nester for the first time in her life.’

Meredith, a celebrity jewelry designer with a store in Park City, admitted during the show that it was difficult opening up about her relationship on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, she said the show ultimately saved her marriage.

The COVID-19 pandemic hit while filming was under way for the inaugural season of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, which debuted in November, and that only helped bring them closer together.

‘We were really quarantined and together, and reevaluating what’s important, what you care about,’ Meredith said.

‘And we were spending all this time together, which we realized we really wanted to be together, we enjoyed spending time together,’ she added.

‘I’m probably the only one on this Earth who can honestly say that Real Housewives coupled with COVID saved my marriage,’ Marks said.
