While 2020’s property market was certainly unpredictable, that didn’t stop plenty of Australian celebrities from making purchases.

The likes of Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, Jennifer Hawkins, and Hamish and Zoë Foster Blake all splashed out on properties this year.

And no expense was spared, with the stars spending millions of dollars on each of their purchases.

The 45-year-old radio host purchased a mansion in Sydney’s Woollahra for $11million after splitting from her husband of 15 years, Lee Henderson, two years ago.

According to realestate.com.au in June, Jackie loved the home so much she went over the $10million price guide by an additional seven figures.

The villa-style property features four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and was only on the market for three days before Jackie swooped in.

The power couple recently purchased a $8,925,000 home in Sydney’s Vaucluse after announcing they were relocating from Melbourne.

According to a report by Domain earlier this month, Hamish, 39, and Zoë, 40, bought the property as a family home for themselves and their two young children. 

The mansion boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a swimming pool and a self-contained office space.

After selling their Newport mansion for a record $24.5million earlier this year, the genetically blessed pair purchased a $6.95million property in Sydney’s Whale Beach.

According to Domain in September, Jake and Jennifer, both 37, purchased the largest oceanfront property in the area.

The sprawling estate is situated on more than 3,000 square metres, and has full-length terraces, along with a 15-metre swimming pool.

After recently selling their home in Sydney’s Rose Bay for almost $4million, the couple purchased an apartment in the same suburb for $5million.

According to a report by realestate.com.au this month, Buddy, 33, and Jesinta, 29, bought the new property off-the-plan.

The apartment is due for completion next month, and it’s said to be bigger than the couple’s current home.

Jesinta and Buddy are expecting their second child at the end of March, which may have inspired their decision to move address.

The spacious property is situated in the hinterlands in Matcham, and features three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a pool.

It was only renovated last year for $250,000, and was last sold in 2016 for $1.4million.

The 26-year-old fitness entrepreneur purchased a $2.88million home in Broadbeach Waters on the Gold Coast earlier this year.

As reported by realestate.com.au in August, Tammy bought the property just 17 days after it hit the market.

The two-level home overlooks the river and boasts views of the city skyline.
