Chrissy Teigen posts photo with origami she made as she mourns unborn son she lost at 20 weeks

She’s been enjoying a sun-soaked getaway to the Caribbean island of St. Barts with husband John Legend and their two children.

But on Wednesday, it was her lost third child that was on Chrissy Teigen’s mind.

The model and cookbook author, 35, shared a photo of herself with daughter Luna, four, and holding a paper sculpture, and in the caption she explained: ‘origami for our Jack!’ 

In the photo, Teigen is seen with her eyes closed and glammed up with glittery make up and blown out long hair, and wearing a black dress and lots of diamond jewelry.

Little Luna, dressed in a pale pink cropped peasant’s blouse and matching skirt, was snuggled up against her mom’s shoulder.

Jack was the name that Teigen and Legend gave to their unborn baby boy who was lost due to pregnancy complications.

The couple shared their heartbreak in early October with a series of wrenching photos they posted on social media. 

Meanwhile, Teigen has been sharing lots of photos and videos from the family’s luxury vacation.

In addition to Luna, she and Legend, who married in 2013, are parents to son Miles, two.

Earlier on Wednesday, the swimsuit model had posted a photo of the four posing together with beaming smiles. 

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Teiegn revealed that she is ‘four weeks sober’ after comments posted in response to an Instagram video showing her dancing wildly while wearing a colorful swimsuit. 

She has been open in the past about her relationship with alcohol in the past.  In a 2017 interview with Cosmopolitan she said, ‘I was, point blank, just drinking too much.’

‘I got used to being in hair and makeup and having a glass of wine. Then that glass of wine would carry over into me having one before the awards show….And then a bunch at the awards show.’

 She continued, ‘And then I felt bad for making kind of an a** of myself to people that I really respected. And that feeling, there’s just nothing like that. You feel horrible. It’s not a good look for me, for John, for anybody.’

In 2018 she spoke to Women’s Health Magazine and said that postpartum depression after having Luna also caused her to drink to cope with the pain before she was prescribed an antidepressant. 

 After Luna, I was drinking too much. I wasn’t eating as much because I was full from drinking. I wasn’t being good to my body.’ 

In February 2019 after overindulging at the Oscars, Teigen tweeted in the wee hours of the morning: ‘Oh my god I feel like absolute s**t. I hereby go sober for at least the week. Booze is poison.’
