Lucy Hale is not letting the problems that 2020 brought slow down the celebrations for the new year.

On Wednesday, the 31-year-old was spotted working on the upcoming Dick Clark New Year’s Rocking Eve special, which is currently being filmed in New York City.

This comes just after Jennifer Lopez was seen taping a segment for the special while in a Cinderella blue princess dress.

The Pretty Little Liars actress looked focused as she walked from one filming location to another despite the chilly New York City winter temperatures.

Hale was spotted wearing a large beige overcoat in order to keep herself warm in the forty-degree weather. She contrasted that with a black turtleneck shirt and matching pants, under which were a pair of leather shoes.

The Fantasy Island actress could be seen utilizing a pair of fuzzy gloves to make sure her hands stayed cozy; she was also spotted holding a microphone for the upcoming event.

The singer allowed her shoulder-length hair to hang down for the taping of the special.

In order to keep herself protected from any risk of exposure to COVID-19, she wore a multicolored floral face mask as she went about her work.

Hale has made regular appearances during the year-end celebration special for the past few years.

Her involvement began with the 2017 edition of the program.

The 2019 was her first as the Times Square correspondent for the show, as she replaced Jenny McCarthy who was unable to attend due to prior commitments.

The upcoming show will be led by longtime host Ryan Seacrest, who has helmed the program since 2006.

Headlining acts include Jennifer Lopez, Machine Gun Kelly and Jimmie Allen; Cyndi Lauper and Billy Porter are set to perform a duet during the event.

President-elect Joe Biden and his wife Dr. Jill Biden will also make an appearance during the program.

Due to the circumstances brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, public attendance will not be allowed during the event.

A limited number of essential workers and their family members will make up the audience of the show this year.
