Love Island’s Shelby Bilby addresses her recent breakup with motocross rider Harry Bink

More than a month after splitting from boyfriend Harry Bink, Shelby Bilby has spoken about the breakup in a candid Q&A with fans on Instagram Stories.

The 27-year-old former Love Island star opened her Stories up to questions, and admitted she’d been inundated with questions about the recent split.

One person asked if it was true that she’d split from the 25-year-old motocross rider, and Shelby confirmed it was.    

‘This is the main question that I have been asked and the answer is yes! Catch up, guys. This was, like, over a month ago that this happened,’ she said in a video post.

She added with a wink: ‘So, yeah, definitely single. Loving life as well.’ 

Another follower asked how she’d been coping with having such a public breakup, and Shelby said she’d been keeping busy.  

‘I just have, like, a really good support network, I guess, and I just keep busy, and also the fact that I know I gave 110 per cent in that relationship makes it a lot easier to walk away,’ she explained.

She added: ‘I’m doing so well, thank you so much for asking. It helps that I’ve kept busy renovating my apartment. It’s almost done, so happy days.’

While she was happy to address the breakup, Shelby drew the line at explaining what went wrong in the relationship, and jibed that she still had a ‘small amount of respect’ for Harry. 

‘This is literally, like, 99 per cent of my questions. And, yeah, I’m not going to put it on my Story, just out of the small amount of respect that I have for that person,’ she said. 

But their breakup appeared to have been less than amicable, with Shelby last month editing her Instagram captions to label Harry her ‘s**t ex’. 

She’s since deleted any photos with him from her Instagram page, and revealed Harry had gained full custody of their dog, Olly, despite the fact he’d bought her the animal as a birthday present.
