Love Island Australia’s Josh Moss injures himself after failing a knife throwing challenge  

He found lasting love with Amelia Marni on Love Island Australia. 

And it appears that Josh Moss should really stick to reality TV, after he was left injured following a knife throwing challenge. 

Posting to Instagram on Tuesday, the 27-year-old shared a slow-motion video of his attempt to catch a knife after throwing it in the air. 

The reality star looked into the camera as he tossed the blade in the air, which spun around before the tip of the knife landed directly on his hand. 

Josh shouted out in pain and grabbed his hand but thankfully his injuries didn’t appear too serious. 

‘Exactly how 2020 felt for everyone,’ he jokingly captioned the post. 

Josh rose to fame on Love Island Australia in 2018, where he fell in love with Amelia Marni. 

They are the only couple still together from their season and in August they celebrated two years together. 

Josh and Amelia told Insider Voices in May that the secret behind their relationship was avoiding ‘outside noises’.

‘When we got out [of the villa] there was so much media… and that is so much added pressure to the relationship,’ Josh said.

‘And also people who were invested in the relationship would come up and say, “You can’t ever break up or I’ll cry!”‘

Amelia added: ‘A lot of people always ask us, “When are you getting married or having kids?” But I’m 24 and not ready! You wouldn’t ask your friends who have been in a relationship for one year those questions.

‘There’s also the pressure of seeing other reality TV couples who are having a baby. getting married, or moving in together… everyone wants you to progress quickly.

‘As long as you don’t compare yourself to another reality TV couple – we just focus on ourselves and it’s okay.’
