Jack Black cements style icon status in orange velour tracksuit bottoms

Jumanji star Jack Black wears a hat and puffy jacket to protect him from a rare rain storm in Los Angeles as he runs an errand

Comedian Jack Black showed he was every inch the showman while in an eclectic outfit while out in rainy Los Angeles on Monday.

The 51-year-old School Of Rock star slipped into a dark jacket and an orange pair of velour tracksuit bottoms while shopping at a local drug store.

The Nacho Libre lead made sure to take the precaution of wearing a mask as she stepped out amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The Los Angeles resident zipped himself into a dark anorak from North Face.

And the star rounded out the look with a pair of gray lace free sneakers that had a thick black sole. 

Black also carried a large yellow and black backpack.

He stripped down to bike shorts, a stetson, cowboy boots and shades to prance around in the backyard, determined to get a laugh even from self-isolation.

The flesh-flashing movie star is off the market as he is married to cellist Tanya Haden whose father was jazz legend Charlie Haden of the Ornette Coleman Quartet.

Tanya and Jack have been married since 2008 and are the proud parents of two sons, 14-year-old Samuel and 12-year-old Thomas.

Jack is still at the peak of his career and is helping head up the smash hit franchise reboot of the Robin Williams vehicle Jumanji.

In the new movies Jack co-stars amid such fellow movie titans as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Kevin Hart, as well as Doctor Who alum Karen Gillan.

The reboots, subtitled Welcome To The Jungle and The Next Level, are sequels to to the Robin Williams film rather than remakes.
