Gal Gadot looks pretty in pink as she shares a silly TikTok throwback from the Wonder Woman 1984 set

Her movie Wonder Woman 1984 topped the box office this week.

And Gal Gadot is looking back at her fun times on set, taking to TikTok on Tuesday to share what she called her ‘first time dancing’ on the video app.

The Israeli actress, 35, was the epitome of 80s-chic as she donned a pink sweater dress and neon accessories while rocking out to the Cyndi Lauper classic Girls Just Wanna Have Fun with her hair and makeup team.

Gal looked like she was having a blast as she sat down and got glam from a trio of pros wearing face shields to combat the spread of coronavirus.

Adding another layer of safety, the star’s dressing room was a outdoors in the fresh air, instead of inside a stuffy trailer.

As Gadot lip-synced her hair and makeup team got down to business.

But then they couldn’t help but break into dance once the famous chorus came.

Still sitting down, the super-heroine threw up her hands and danced.

Gal teased the silly moment on Instagram, posting similar behind the scenes snaps of her funky look. 

She poked fun at herself in the caption, writing: ‘My first time dancing on Tiktok! Never knew the day would come but here it is – me – dancing – on tiktok. Go check it out!’

The Justice League star was likely riding high after news the Patty Jenkins-directed flick broke pandemic box-office records, raking in $16.7million in North America.

While it’s a drop in the ocean compared to the more than $100 million opening generated by the original 2017 Wonder Woman film, it’s still judged a success by Warner Bros. given that only 35 percent of cinemas in the U.S. are open.

And the studio announced Sunday it is moving ahead to fast-track a third Wonder Woman film with Gadot and director Patty Jenkins returning. 

Wonder Woman 1984 also dropped simultaneously on the HBO Max streaming platform but viewing figures have not been released.

According to Variety, the bulk of ticket sales in the U.S. came from private watch parties, with customers renting out screening rooms at cinema chains for around $100 a time.   

The North American box office combines with the international take to date to give the superhero movie a global total Sunday of $85 million. 

In 2017, Wonder Woman set a record for the biggest opening by a female filmmaker. and went on to gross $822 million worldwide. 

The sequel, which cost about $200 million to make, had been expected to approach $1 billion in box office receipts before the pandemic. It is on track to make about $180 million, Variety reported.
