Hollywood star Zac Efron is believed to be spending New Year’s Eve on Hamilton Island, one of the picturesque Whitsunday Islands in Queensland.
And the rumour mill is spinning with speculation that he’ll celebrate the start of 2021 by proposing to his Australian girlfriend, Vanessa Valladares.
The Baywatch actor, 33, believes the $7,200-a-night Qualia resort is the perfect place to get down on one knee, reports Woman’s Day.

‘As soon as Zac saw pictures of the resort, he knew it would be the place to spend the most special New Year’s Eve of his life,’ a source told the magazine.
‘He is head over heels for Vanessa and has been thinking about popping the question for a few weeks now.’
The source added: ‘Friends think he will propose at midnight and they couldn’t be happier for him.’
