EXCLUSIVE: Actor Luke Arnold reveals his favourite part of his guest role on Home and Away and why working with co-star Sam Frost is ‘dangerous’
He is best known for his role as a swashbuckling pirate on the US series Black Sails.
But Australian-born actor, Luke Arnold, recently returned home to film a guest role on Channel Seven’s Home and Away.
And the hunky 36-year-old told Daily Mail Australia at the AACTA Awards earlier this month that he is relishing every minute of playing the mysterious new nurse, Lewis Hayes, on the popular soap.

‘It’s such a staple of Australian TV, and everyone is so friendly, and it’s such a well-honed machine, so I have had a really great time on it,’ he said.
‘It’s been a really fun gig and it feels like the right gig to do coming home.’
What’s more, the long-running soap is set to see Luke’s character enjoy a sizzling romance with Jasmine (Sam Frost).

‘Sam is just the loveliest. The most dangerous thing about working with Sam is that she is so bubbly and fun, that you’re having such a great time, then they call “action,”‘ he joked.
‘But it’s been great working with her and it makes work a joy.’

Since then he has gone on to to play one-legged pirate John Silver in the Emmy winning series Black Sails and most recently he appeared in TV series The End.
Luke is also an accomplished author having penned two fantasy novels The Last Smile in Sunder City and Dead Man in a Ditch.
