Taylor Swift is replaced by Brad Paisley on mural in Nashville’s Legends Corner … and her fans are not happy about switch

Taylor Swift has been replaced by Brad Paisley on a mural at Nashville’s Legends Corner that also features country icons such as Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire and Willie Nelson.

According to TMZ, the switch of stars on the artistic exhibition in Music City, which is displayed at 5th and Broadway near the city’s Ryman Auditorium, will also feature three new artists being added by Tim Davis.

A number of Swifts’s fans were upset about the change to the art, citing her accomplishments in the music industry.

One wrote: Taylor Swift, an artist who has the most awarded country album in history and “has achieved both national and international prominence through at levels unique in country music,” is having her spot on the legends corner mural given to Brad Paisley and for what???”

Another said, ‘Taylor swift did not become the first woman to be awarded the pinnacle award and contributed so much to country music only to be replaced on a Nashville mural, utter disrespect .’

Another put Swift’s career achievements into perspective, noting, ‘Nashville really took Taylor Swift who is the youngest person to ever win ‘The Pinnacle Award’ for her contribution in country music & popularized the genre overseas off of the Legends Corner Mural, and gave her spot to Brad Paisley who released a song like “accidental racist.”

One fan put the snub into a different perspective, citing Swift’s awareness of community and the bombing incident that took place earlier Friday in Nashville.

‘I promise you that Taylor Swift is more concerned about a bomb detonating in downtown Nashville than she is about being painted out of a mural,’ the user wrote.

Swift last year commissioned a temporary installation mural from artist Kelsey Montague of butterfly wings in Nashville at a lot near Laurel and 11th Avenue that was a hit on social media, WZTV reported.
