Lewis Capaldi is set to join Miley Cyrus, Megan Thee Stallion, Nelly, Doja Cat and Maluma for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in Los Angeles. 

DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal that the 24-year-old Scottish singer was added to the star studded lineup of performers to ring in 2021. 

The Someone You Loved hitmaker will be performing on the West Coast as part of the global celebration which will be hosted by Ciara in LA and Ryan Seacrest in Times Square.

With 2020 having been such a hard year, millions are looking forward to ushering in a new year filled with promise. 

The iconic New Year’s Eve special is announcing one new performer a day leading up to the December 31 event. 

The show will focus on bringing viewers messages of hope and unity throughout the night and will feature additional performers like Jennifer Lopez, Machine Gun Kelly, and Billy Porter (who will also be hosting) with Cyndi Lauper in NYC.

‘2020 has been a trying year for the world and I’m thrilled to have Billy and Lucy join me in ushering in a new year with fresh beginnings. We look forward to making sure it’s a night for everyone to remember,’ said Seacrest. 

Hosting for his sixteenth year alongside Lucy Hale he will lead the countdown to midnight while checking in on celebrations around the world alongside five and a half hours of performances. 

The festivities kick off at 8PM ET and will not be open to the public this year due to the pandemic.
