Pregnant Kara Tointon bundles up in a stripy scarf and long brown coat

Kara Tointon picked up her Christmas turkey at her greengrocers in Notting Hill on Thursday, ahead of the big day.  

The actress, who is expecting her second child with her fiancé Marius Jensen, teased a hint of her bump as she waited patiently outside to pick up food for the festive feast.  

Kara, 37, bundled up for the chilly weather in a long light brown coat which she layered over a grey slogan sweatshirt.  

Kara teamed the look with jeans and a black military boots and a stripy scarf. 

The former EastEnders star donned a black face mask and accessorised her outfit with a cross-body bag. 

After paying a visit to the greengrocers, Kara loaded her bags of shopping into the car.  

Earlier this month, Kara said she had been thinking up some names for her baby boy, who is due in January.

Sharing a snap of herself in bed with her son Frey, she wrote: ‘Another name possibility came to us today. Two so far. Inspiration welcomed.’  

Kara confirmed in October that she was then six months pregnant with another baby boy, almost two years after she and Marius, a chiropractor, welcomed son Frey. 

‘I think this year has brought so many things in different ways,’ she told Hello! magazine. 

‘At the beginning of the year I was due to start a play, and now I am at home in a little cocoon and pregnant.’

She said: ‘We really wanted a sibling for Frey. So we said: “If it happens, it happens, let’s go with the flow.” And it happened much quicker than we expected.’

The actress had been due to star in a stage production of Steel Magnolias before COVID-19 restrictions prevented it going ahead.

Kara and Marius made their first public appearance as a couple at London’s Wimbledon tennis championships in the summer of 2017.

Before finding love with Marius, Kara previously had relationships with her EastEnders co-star Joe Swash and ex Strictly pro Artem Chigvintsev.
