She’s been in her element ever since the Christmas season started.

The 50-year-old pop legend hugged her son tightly while revealing their sets of matching plaid pajamas.

Loved-up family: Mariah Carey, 50, matched her ‘Rockstar’ son Moroccan in red and black plaid pajamas while they posed outdoors on her snowy patio

Mariah and Moroccan were pictured hanging out in their backyard patio area, with a stone bench and a caged fire pit at their side and snow piling up behind them.

Moroccan had on a matching pajama shirt and pants featuring and red and black plaid pattern.

He had a determined look on his face and raised his hand as if he was ready for a showdown.

His mother beamed as she hugged him from behind.

The Always Be My Baby singer had on a large pair black sunglasses, and she went back to her early career look with her tightly curled caramel-colored locks.

‘Matching with my Rockstar,’ she captioned the sweet snap.

Mariah had braved the chilly air outside her home on Monday, when she was surprised with a plaque from her record label commemorating the success of her ‘multi-platinum’ Holiday album Merry Christmas and its monster hit All I Want For Christmas.

Mariah had to be led outside by her twins Moroccan and Monroe with her eyes closed before she got to unwrap the display.

‘I am freaking out! This is amazing. I have not seen this until this moment, ok?’ she gushed.

The 1994 holiday album features multiple perennially popular Christmas songs, but All I Want For Christmas Is You rocketed into the pantheon of holiday standards.

The single is once again on the charts and is topping the Billboard Global 200 chart for the second week in a row, while both the song and the album have gone platinum eight times in the US.

Mariah welcomed her twins in April 2011 and shares them with her ex-husband Nick Cannon.

The former couple met while she was filming her 2008 music video for Bye Bye, and they married in April of that year.

Mariah and Nick separated in 2014 and finalized their divorce two years later.
