The Bachelor: Irena Srbinovska tags up her outfit after shading influencers

She recently took a subtle swipe at the fame-hungry bachelorettes from Locky Gilbert’s season, including runner-up Bella Varelis.

But it seems Irena Srbinovska is now also reaping the benefits of her newfound fame by becoming a social media influencer.

The nurse, 31, promoted her stylish outfit on Instagram on Wednesday, and even tagged the individual items of clothing, while on a romantic date with Locky. 

Irena showed off her toned figure in jeans and a white shirt, and captioned the photo: ‘With you by my side I will always be smiling… Tap for outfit details.’

She tagged the clothing labels Forever New and Witchery, as well as Wittner Shoes.

Irena told Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday her Instagram posts weren’t sponsored and she wasn’t working with any brands.

She said she tagged the retailers because she liked the clothes and it was easier than responding to fans individually.

‘I’m not working with any brands. It’s just brands that I shop at and people are always messaging me [asking] where my clothes are from,’ she said. 

In the snap, Irena laughed as he held Locky’s hand and posed in front of a helicopter.

In October, Irena raised eyebrows when she said she didn’t care about being verified on Instagram like runners-up Bella Varelis and Bec Cvilikas.

‘I’m not about being an influencer, just about being real,’ she told Daily Mail Australia, after being asked why her account wasn’t verified yet.

Irena also clarified she hadn’t received a blue tick for one simple reason. ‘I haven’t even applied for it,’ she said. ‘I don’t really care about it.’

Locky also couldn’t resist making a sly reference to some of the contestants who’d  flocked to paparazzi hotspot Bondi Beach after filming ended.

‘We have to have some secrets,’ he responded to a Daily Mail journalist on Instagram.

‘We’re not too keen on the whole Bondi vibe. Give us the mountains any day,’ he added, alongside a crying-with-laughter emoji.
