Legendary cricketer Shane Warne has finally sold his sprawling mansion in Melbourne‘s affluent Brighton.
The 51-year-old has finally offloaded his property after it was passed in at private auction at $5.65million earlier this month, Realestate.com.au reports.
The father-of-three had hoped for between $5.8 million to $6.38million for the home, which cost him $5.4million in 2018.
He dropped the price by a whopping $1million – accepting offers over $5.8million, after originally asking for $6.8million to $7.4million in March.

Real estate agent Jonathan Dixon from JP Dixon, told Realestate.com.au that Shane sold the home and described it as ‘the total package.’
He added about Warnie’s love of real estate: ‘Everyone thinks he just buys houses to turn them over, but that’s not correct. If you follow his lifestyle, it changes so often.’
The publication reports that the King of Spin is set to move into the new apartment development called the Saint Moritz in St Kilda, which he is said to have bought in 2018 for $5.4million.

According to Domain, Shane’s auction was held outdoors next to the swimming pool and the opening bid was $5.5million.
Shane was not seen outside the property on auction day, however, he was spotted peeking through the curtains.
His son, SAS Australia star son Jackson Warne, 21, came along to offer his support, arriving in a black SUV.
Shane’s manager, Helen Nolan, also came along to keep an eye on things, and was all smiles as she arrived.

A wine cellar with an adjacent living space for relaxing and hosting guests adds to the upmarket feel of the property.
