Chris Pratt FINALLY addresses ‘Best Chris’ debate between him and his Marvel co-stars

His celebrity friends and wife Katherine Schwarzenegger have all addressed the ‘Best Chris’ controversy.

And now Chris Pratt himself has finally spoken out on the long-running Twitter debate that has seen him pitted against his MCU co-stars Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth as well as Chris Pine.

Speaking in an Instagram video for the charity fantasy football legaue AGBO Superhero League on Tuesday, the Guardians of the Galaxy actor delightedly announced he had made it into the final, beating two of his rival Chris’. 

The AGBO Superhero League is a charity fantasy football league named after the production company co-founded by ‘Avengers: Endgame’ directors and brothers, Anthony and Joe Russo. 

Pratt, explained that while he had the last draft pick he’s had ‘two very, very close victories,’ beating both Evans and Hemsworth – which according to him puts an end to the ‘Best Hollywood Chris’ debate. 

‘My fantasy football team in AGBO fantasy football league, if you’ve been following — I made it into the finals!’ Pratt told fans in the footage. ‘I’m in the finals! How did this happen?’

‘It’s a 14-man league,’ he continued. ‘I had 14th draft pick. You know how hard that is? I was picked last — it was very traumatic. Anyone who’s been picked last knows how that feels.’

He went on to explain that he was ’10th place after the draft and 8th place after the season’ and had beat Evans.

‘I snuck two very, very close victories off, the most recent against Chris Evans. He had beat Chris Hemsworth last week, so I guess we can finally put an end to that debate of who’s the better Chris?’

‘It’s one of them,’ he joked. ‘I do have them in body-fat content, though. So I am more buoyant. Take that, gang.’ 

The ‘Best Chris’ debate went viral earlier this year when a meme asked who is ‘the best Hollywood Chris’, which many online users found Pratt to be ‘the worst Chris in Hollywood’.  

Much of the negative talk about The Jurassic World star focused on his lack of political involvement about current events, given his stature in Hollywood, and the theory that he’s a Donald Trump supporter, in part, because of his association with a conservative Christian church that has been criticized for being anti-LGBTQ in the past. 

Chris’ wife Katherine Schwarzenegger came to his defence at the height of the controversy, slamming the online attacks on her husband, which included calling E! News’s decision to address the controversy on its Instagram page wrong and mean-spirited.  

‘Is this really what we need? There’s so much going on in the world and people are struggling in so many ways,’ Katherine, who only welcomed daughter Lyla with Pratt this past August, said on social media. 

‘Being mean is so yesterday. There’s enough room to love all these guys. Love is what we all need not meanness and bullying. Let’s try that.’        

Robert Downey Jr., Zoe Saldana, Mark Ruffalo and Josh Brolin were among the other stars who spoke out in support of Pratt.

Meanwhile another famous Chris wrapped up in the debate- Chris Pine, was asked about the online war in a new appearance on Josh Horowitz’s quarantine game show Stir Crazy to promote his new movie Wonder Woman 1984.

”I feel like I’m the underdog right now, so I’ll take all the support I can get,’ he joked. 

After Josh suggested a potential collaboration between the Chrises, Pine mused: ‘Either we do a Chris-con or we do like a rat pack show at the Sands where we entertain and do a bit of Vaudeville.’
