A$AP Rocky touches down in Barbados to spend Christmas with new love Rihanna

They went public with their blossoming romance earlier this month.

And it appears as though things are getting serious as A$AP Rocky touched down in Barbados to spend time with Rihanna over the Christmas holiday.

The 32-year-old rapper rocked a vibrant ensemble while making his way through the Grantley Adams International Airport on Wednesday morning. 

A$AP — who’s full name is Rakim Mayers — sported a colorful outfit complete with patchwork pants as he made his way to a waiting vehicle.

He carried a puffer jacket and a host of bags while making sure to protect himself and others amid the surging coronavirus pandemic by wearing a black face mask. 

While Rocky was born in Harlem, he has family ties in the Caribbean as his father is from Barbados. 

Rihanna made her way to her hometown earlier this week to celebrate the season with friends and family.

They went public with their new romance earlier this months after photos surfaced of the couple strolling through Manhattan together.

Sources told Page Six that the couple wined and dined with friends at New York City’s Beatrice Inn

The Diamonds vocalist and the Fashion Killa artist collaborated earlier this year on a promotional campaign for her Fenty Skin line, taking part in joint interviews with Vogue and GQ for the promotion. 

A source told People magazine that Rihanna is ‘very happy’ in the new relationship with A$AP after splitting from billionaire Hassan Jameel.

‘They’ve been inseparable the past few weeks. It’s a new relationship, but they both seem very into it,’ the insider continued, adding that they ‘have a lot in common.’
